Arkitsa is very beautiful coastal village with an altitude of only 40 meters- It is a recognized tourist resort known for its beaches and clear waters and its environment.
It is located on the North Gulf of Evia. During the period of the 15th of August, cultural events are held in the port of Arkitsa by the Cultural Association of Arkitsa KLEIDONA.
A festival of traditional dances is organized with the participation of dance groups from all over Greece and abroad, children’s activities and the presentation of songs to honor the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin.
